Satinder Pal Singh was born in the village of Bajrawar in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. His upbringing was rooted in a middle-class family of farmers. Sartaaj’s academic pursuits led him to Government College, Hoshiarpur, where he earned an honors degree in music.
